I’ve been replaying a lot of LucasArts adventure games lately.  Does it show?

This went from “a reader on Twitter mentions knorks” to being a completed comic in just over an hour.  There’s something seriously wrong with that.

This is pretty much the most blatantly obvious “hidden picture” puzzle on Earth, but I left the last panel empty just so you guys could have a little fun.

The world of Sporkman has changed since the last comics were posted in 2008.  In the intervening three-odd years, our hero somehow shrank: whenever I draw him in different art styles (in Lit Brick or Silver Age Sporkman, for example), he stays chibi while everyone else is their average adult human height (five to six feet).  This is largely because Sporkman just looks weird if he’s not short and vaguely adorable.

This change is being carried over to Classic Sporkman in a slightly more subtle way.  In most of the newer strips, he’s drawn just a few inches shorter than everyone else, or drawn closer to the camera to balance things out.  I’m basically just fudging his height unless his shortness is required for a joke, as in today’s strip.

I honestly have no idea why Amanda would be in Time Magazine.  Maybe they were doing an expose on trust fund babies.

Robyn is probably lying.  Probably.

This strip was created for a very specific reason, beyond “I think it’s really funny.”  It was actually written to create a massive gap in Sporkman’s personal timeline, so that I could explain away the existence of Silver Age Sporkman.  As Old Sporkman says, he’s been gone for almost twenty years; in truth, he was shot back to January 1996, and presumably had all sorts of little adventures I’ll never bother to draw.

It’s just not a party if drunk people don’t make out with complete strangers in a basement.

I hate parties.  I really, really do.  I’d go hang out in the basement by choice.  And hey, the Flints have a pretty nice basement anyway, so Sporkman should stop complaining.

I was playing in a poker game the other day in which I knocked six or seven people out.  People kept joining the game, and I kept knocking them out.  It was bizarre.  Eventually I had roughly 80% of the chips present.  They decided to start a new game after that.

And of course, with my luck, the game was not for real money.  I won only pride.  And a comic idea.
