This was a particularly fun strip to create back in the day, and it was equally fun to remaster here in the future. Amanda's transformations specifically represent various art styles I've used over the years. The first, in the original strip from 2004, represented my 2004-era art style in the original Basil Flint comics. That art style evolved into how I currently draw in Mary Elizabeth's Sock,so for the remaster, I've redrawn Amanda's face. While I try to avoid changing the original artwork too much in these remasterings, in this case, I thought that some minor touch-ups here would improve the overall quality of the strip, as well as making the in-joke slightly more relevant for my current (ie, 2012) readers. As it stands now, I only redrew her face, which ultimately makes the first transformation something of a 2004/2012 hybrid of Amanda. She's actually noticeably shorter than I'd draw her body today. Her second form is what is commonly referred to as my "big eye" style, for fairly obvious reasons. It's how I drew my characters when I first started posting webcomics, from 2000 to 2003 or so. Her third form, obviously, is the Chibi Sporkman style.

Note that the date I've posted this comic under isn't strictly accurate: this strip was originally drawn on October 26th, 2004.
