If you've been browsing this comic archive long enough, you'll have noticed that I usually take a moment on today, January 31st, to celebrate Sporkman's birthday. It is, strictly speaking, the anniversary of my entire webcomic oeuvre, so January 31st is a very important date for me personally.

...which is why I'm starting my 2023 output with this, SPORKMAN'S SELF-INDULGENT TWENTY-THIRD ANNIVERSARY SPECTACULAR. This strip, and the eight following it (please come back tomorrow), are part of a resolution I've made to make webcomics at a truly maddening rate again. For at least the month of February, comics will appear DAILY, either here or at or at a new site for my story comics.

I turn 40 this year so it's decidedly possible I'm just having a midlife crisis, but nonetheless.
