Ah, and it's the introduction of criminal mastermind Jim Illiad, in chibi form. Jim didn't actually pop up in this strip very often, which is curious given that he was a major player in the original 2001-era series. Here, instead of being an impressively evil douchebag, he only serves as the straight-man foil for Andie's madcap schemes. I suppose, when you get right down to it, Jim was just too serious of a character to survive in the zany world of Chibi Sporkman.
